Ran Music 厂牌的重要元老 - 来自美国加州的 Groove 大师 J.R.G. ，本周将在 Ran Music 旗下舞曲子厂牌 Ran Groove 发表首张个人专辑《Plastic n Ivory》，收录了他8首充满了标志性西海岸风情、原汁原味的美式 House 舞曲：厚重的 Bass 声线，迷幻的热带海滩气息，随心所欲的乐器独奏制造出高潮不断的音浪，以及两位令人激动的灵魂女声：Credit Card 和 MC Dreaminah 的倾情献唱，让在数张 Ran Groove 合辑中独树一帜的 J.R.G. 的此张专辑，令人充满了期待；

Being one of Ran Music’s earliest veterans, California-born J.R.G. is releasing his first full-length album “Plastic n Ivory” on Ran Music’s dance sub-label Ran Groove. This album features 8 tracks of J.R.G.’s lush production which feature rich musicality, dancing instrumental solos, psychedelic tropical vibes and thick American style house beats. Added into this are two of China’s most exciting vocalists, Credit Card, who is featured in the title track, and MC Dreaminah, who adds her lyrics and style to the track “You Can.” J.R.G.’s unique style has evolved from the Ran Groove compilation and now comes into his debut album, which is exciting news to all loyal house music fans around the scene here.

3月30日，J.R.G. 将与 Ran Groove 的同伴们一起，造访上海 Elevator, 用一场疯狂的 House 舞曲派对来庆祝《Plastic n Ivory》专辑发布。Ran Groove 的主理人 Another Van, 以及厂牌两位风格新颖的新晋女制作人 - Diamond Lil 和 Laughing Ears, 都将携带自己今年将发布的全新作品，于 J.R.G. 一道，为 Elevator 的舞池制造一场旋律与律动的盛宴；

MICHAEL GONZALES AKA J.R.G. 是一位来自加利福尼亚， 现居在北京的DJ/制作人。J.R.G.自幼学习音乐，有着深厚的 JAZZ, 布鲁斯，SALSA 和摇滚乐背景。他精通演奏数种乐器，包括萨克斯，小号，吉他和贝斯。他最为热衷的乐器是键盘，并经常在他的各种音乐作品中引入丰富的键盘独奏。
因为自小在大编制乐团中演奏的经验，这也为他转型成为 HOUSE舞 曲制作人奠定了强大的音乐基础。他在东京和纽约的地下 CLUB中爱 上了 HOUSE 音乐，这些 CLUB 中播放的舞曲都有着极大的融合性， 通常是 HOUSE 的节奏与 JAZZ, SOUL, AFRICAN, LATIN以 及其他风格的音乐交融。J.R.G.试图把这种独特的融合和音乐理念带到中国。
在音乐制作方面，J.R.G.使用不断持续变化的律动来推动歌曲的进 展，音乐的核心往往是他展示乐器演奏才华的舞台，他的音乐是极简 (MINIMAL)的对立面，他想让音乐变的尽可能丰富，丰满，但是又有突出的律动作让听众舞动身体。他将最根源，复古的HOUSE音 乐带给了北京的音乐场景。 Ran Music 发行的数支单曲，让他与众不同的纯正美式风格 House 舞曲，受到了国内 DJ 们的广泛好评；
Michael Gonzales aka J.R.G. is a Beijing based DJ/producer. A California native, J.R.G. has been a musician for as long as he can remember, with a formative background in jazz, blues, salsa and rock. J.R.G. is proficient in a variety of instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, guitar and bass, however his main love remains the keyboard, which is often featured as a solo instrument in many of his arrangements.

J.R.G. grew up playing ensemble music, which provided a musical foundation for his transition towards house and dance music. He acquired an ear for dance music through underground clubs in Tokyo and New York and coming into contact with DJs such as Timmy Regisford, Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries and many others who were spinning in the clubs every weekend. What really stood out was how the tunes in these clubs combined house beats with techno, jazz, soul, african, latin and many other styles of music. J.R.G. has been busy trying to bring that musical philosophy to Beijing.

When it comes to production, J.R.G. uses constantly evolving grooves to allow his tracks to subtly progress and develop, whilst leaving space for his personal musicality to remain at the center of the arrangement. J.R.G’s aim is that the music should be aesthetically beautiful, multi-textured, and rich, whilst maintaining an underlying groove that drives the listener to move their body. His unique classic house music style got a lot of attention through the release in Ran Groove compilations.

Another Van：活跃在北京和上海的电子音乐人及DJ。燃音乐舞曲子厂牌Ran Groove主理人。热衷于探讨四四拍循环之美与空间环境人群之间的关系。音乐上秉承极简主义哲学。并愿意将各种热烈的西部迷幻情感融入看上去冰冷的电子乐，时而上山吹风，时而深潜入海，早期后朋与后摇乐队生涯的碎片和当下深邃科技舞曲结合交织出矛盾抽象声场，也因此形成伊万个性鲜明的律动。
Another van, an electronic music producer and DJ activating both in Beijing and Shanghai. also known as the label head of Ran Groove. Particularly keen on the repetitive beauty of four on the floor and the relationship between man and space. While adhering minimalism, his music is also mixed with the enthusiastic of the psychedelic melody lines and the coldness of the synth wave samples which formed its own distinctive grooves.
Diamond Lil
Diamond Lil（王馨瑜）是现居上海的独立音乐制作人，音乐创作是她全部的热情所在。无论是深邃的氛围音乐还是冲击舞池的律动，温暖的合成器声音总会将你慢慢缠绕其中。同时作为上海电子厂牌Co: Motion的一员，她也活跃在本地的地下音乐场所之中。她用她有着鲜明特点的Disco和House 音乐一次又一次让舞池沸腾。2016 年开始在独立电子音乐厂牌“燃音乐”发行数首单曲，极具画面感的音乐创作让她开始受到更多关注。个人的音乐计划之外，她在与其他优秀音乐人的合作中（例如 DaBozz 大包子、邱比、小老虎）也表现了更多的音乐天赋。
Diamond Lil is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Shanghai. Behind the decks, she moves rooms with tight blends of disco- and Chicago-influenced house, combining deep melodies with a real sense of swing. As a producer she writes music ranging from downtempo and melodic ambient to more groove-based dancefloor material.Being a member of Beijing's Ran Groove label (alongside acts like h_w_a, Knopha). Diamond is also a new resident of club Elevator with the Co: Motion crew in Shanghai.
Laughing Ears
Laughing Ears：现居上海的电子音乐制作人， 她的音乐不局限于某种风格，从Experiment，Ambient，Beats & Hits，Vocal 到噪音，各种声音是她的积木，堆叠一个声音城堡。她带了她的旧磁带以及属于自己的节拍，缓拍中的力量，带你走进她的世界。2017年12月在 Ran Music 发行了首张个人 EP - 《Illusory Time》（恍如隔世）。
Laughing Ears is a Shanghai-based electronic music producer. Her music doesn’t belong to any specific genre, it can be called Experiment, Ambient, Beats & Hits, Vocal or even just Noise. Sounds of all kinds are her building blocks to conjure up an imaginative castle of frequency. To guide the listener into her audible world she will be accompanied by an 80’s boombox with tapes and down-tempo vibes not lacking strength. Her debut EP - "Illusory Time“ was released on Ran Music in December 2017.
